News flash: We’ve been awarded with SFA’s 2-star GAP-certified badge!
This is a milestone that fills us with immense pride and joy, and we are thrilled to share this news with everyone.
The 2-star GAP (that’s Good Aquacultural / Agricultural Practice) certified badge is given to local farms that meet a list of stringent standards set by the Singapore Food Agency. The standards involve requirements on farm management and practices that ensure quality in production.
Getting the badge was not an easy process. We had to be inspected on not just food safety management, but also the health and welfare of our farmed fish and prawns. And the criteria is aligned with international standards - a high bar to reach!
The rigorous process of getting certified was enlightening. It compelled us to adopt the best industry practices, adhere to stringent food safety standards, and embrace innovation in our processes.
It has made us realise how important it is to scrutinise and enhance every aspect of our farm. So we have committed to keep looking at all parts of our operations, be it big or small, so that we can continue to innovate and improve.
We are incredibly proud of the dedicated and passionate team that made this achievement possible. Each and every one of our team members played a crucial role in aligning our processes with the standards set by the SFA. Their commitment to excellence, attention to detail, and collaborative spirit have been the driving force behind this achievement. To all our team members reading this - a big thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

The badge is a recognition of our past achievements, but it also serves as a compass guiding us towards our goal.
